BBC Asian Network

Recent market research showed that the BBC’s radio station ‘Asian Network’ were loosing listeners. Their target audience of 18-34 year old British Asians were not connecting with the station’s sound or image. To counter this the station launched a new day festival in 2016 at The Eventim Apollo celebrating the best in British Asian music.  

Bryce was asked to create two posters to promote the event and with the above in mind we wanted the designs to reflect the energy of the performers. We overlaid a gradient of two contrasting colours on photographs of the acts performing live and used a contemporary typeface to create a style that the younger audience could relate to.
